RC Show features movie-dining event, dozens of seminars and 700 brands

Toronto – The Restaurants Canada Show takes place this Sunday, Feb. 26 to Tuesday, Feb. 28, at the Enercare Centre in Toronto.

Among its presentations, workshops and seminars is a Sunday evening movie and dining event. Lidia Bastianich, public television host, best-selling cookbook author, restaurateur and co-owner of Eataly, will speak at a screening of the classic Italian-American restaurant movie Big Night in the Presentation Theatre at the Enercare Centre, followed by dinner at Terroni Adelaide. Lidia Bastianich will share what it takes to be successful while staying true to authentic Italian cuisine.

Also of interest to pizzaiolos is a demo called “Pizza and Gelato Making 101” scheduled for the culinary stage.

The show, entitled “Canada Unleashed,” will see more than 700 food, technology, equipment and services companies and brands in one location.
