Baskin-Robbins launches ‘Polar Pizza’ and teams up with Pizza Pizza on discount

Toronto – Baskin-Robbins Canada is introducing its new Polar Pizza, an ice-cream treat in the shape of a nine-inch pizza, at Canadian locations.

The ice cream dessert that is available in three flavour combinations: Cookies ‘N Cream, Peanut Butter ‘N Chocolate and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.

Customers also have the option of creating their own customized Polar Pizza by combining a tasty Chocolate Chip Cookie or Double Fudge Brownie crust with their favourite ice-cream flavour and any combination of toppings, Baskin-Robbins Canada said in a news release.

“Polar Pizza is an ice cream treat you can eat like pizza and it’s the perfect dessert for any occasion,” said Natalie Joseph, Field Marketing Manager for Baskin-Robbins Canada. “It offers customers a unique and memorable sharing moment that is priceless.”

The company has teamed up with Pizza Pizza to offer a pizza-pairing discount. Guests in Ontario will receive a $5 discount off a large three-topping pizza and $5 off a Baskin-Robbins Polar Pizza when making a walk-in purchase (some rules apply) at any participating Pizza Pizza or Baskin-Robbins Canada location in Ontario from Aug. 22 to Oct. 2.

Polar Pizza will remain a permanent fixture on the Baskin-Robbins Canada menu at participating shops across Canada.
