October 24, 2011 - Vulcan's Restaurant Series counter top line-up of charbroiler, hotplate and griddle equipment is now available from Hobart Canada.
Designed to meet the needs of professional chefs, the counter top line from Vulcan is designed to deliver the performance and optimal response time required for independent operators.
The equipment features a polished new look and stainless steel for added durability and longer life span. Each cook top is gas operated, has 4-inch adjustable legs for easy height variation based on preference, and comes with with an LP conversion kit.

- Griddles featuring a thicker and deeper plate than competing brands, an embedded snap-action thermostat and pilot safety valves designed to help protect users if a supervised pilot extinguishes, completely shutting off all gas to the pilot and burners.
- Charbroilers with a low-profile cook top and a full-width crumb tray to catch grease and debris. The char broiler is built off a 27-inch chassis with cast-iron burners, top grates and radiants, and an underburner deflector system that reflects heat upward, creating a cool zone in the tray and drip areas.
- Hotplate - Designed with a full-width, easy-to-empty front crumb tray and a two-piece burner to allow for ease of cleaning and minimize the impact of spills.
