Pizza prep units promise even temperatures
Written by Canadian Pizza
June 17, 2010, Toronto - Ascend, a refrigeration line of pizza prep units, feature a self-contained design that uses a uniform forced air system to keep all products at the same temperature with no need to defrost. The line, represented by Escan Supply in Ontario, is assembled in California by Jimex Manufacturing and offers a two year parts and labour/five year compressor warranty on each unit, which is above the industry standard. The design focuses on increasing energy efficiency while providing performance and durability.

Jimex first began manufacturing custom walk-in coolers for customers in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1994, custom fabricating all panels and installing these units into any type of refrigeration application. The design and manufacturing of unique self-contained refrigeration systems was set into place in 1996. Jimex has introduced some of the most energy-efficient and ergonomic commercial refrigeration systems in the market today.

Some of the key features include stainless steel exterior and interior, fully recessed door handles, reinforced door hinges that hold open at 90 degrees and the inclusion of an 18 inch cutting board and polycarbonate pans. The units are available in three sizes: 44 inches wide with one door, 68 inches wide with two doors and 93 inches wide with three doors.
