Red Brick Pizza unveils fruity crust
January 6, 2010, Palmdale, CA - Red Brick Pizza has developed a new whole wheat, multigrain crust made with acai berry, a fruit known for its health-promoting, antioxidant properties.

"We are very excited about the release of this phenomenal pizza," said Red Brick’s president Jim Minidis.

"A typical whole wheat pizza tends to be dry and bland, but Red Brick's whole wheat artisan crust has a unique, flavourful taste because of the combination of the acai berry, 100 per cent pure virgin olive oil and multigrains," explained Minidis.

Fire-roasted in just three minutes, Red Brick describes the gourmet pizza as moist yet crunchy.

"We stand behind our claim that Red Brick pizzas are healthier and better for our customers because they have less calories, fat, carbohydrates and sodium than ordinary pizzas."
