beer battle just got a little hotter with the addition of Moosehead
Light Lime.
Moosehead Breweries reports it has sold
more than 1.5 million bottles of Moosehead Lime Light since launching the beer
at a Bon Jovi concert in Moncton June 27.
"We're responding to the overwhelming
market demand for lime-flavoured beer in Ontario. We have been getting e-mails and
calls from Ontarians asking us when they can purchase Moosehead Light Lime. The
good news is consumers will be able to enjoy the new beer this weekend,"
said Moosehead president Andrew Oland in a press release, who added the brewery
"has been in full production mode all summer."
