July 28, 2009, Pine Brook, NJ – The OHAUS Corporation has launched their Valor
3000 Xtreme line of compact portioning scales.
The Valor 3000 Xtreme portioning scale is designed for the daily
weighing needs of restaurants, contract foodservice, food and menu development
test kitchens and food manufacturing applications.
The scale’s housing is constructed entirely of stainless steel
with added chemical resistance protection incorporated into its front panel.
Both top and bottom housings are made of T304 stainless steel. The Valor 3000
Xtreme’s QuadraStance design uses four large, adjustable rubber feet for firm
and stable weighing.
The Valor 3000 Xtreme is also equipped with extreme overload and
shock protection – rated at 10 times capacity. Each Valor 3000 Xtreme is NSF listed/certified, USDA-AMS accepted,
and will support a HACCP-certified system. The washable models of the Valor 3000
Xtreme can be quickly cleaned under a tap or sprayed with water for quick
cleaning.
The Valor 3000 Xtreme can be quickly set into the weighing units
required from a choice of lb, fractional or decimal ounces; a combined lb:oz
display (with either fractional or decimal ounces); or kg, g or fluid ounces of
water.
The high precision weighing
cells in the Valor 3000 Xtreme offer resolutions up to 20,000d. User adjustable
stability settings allow the Valor 3000 to operate accurately in drafty and
unstable environments. With weight capacities ranging from 0.4lb (200g) to more
than 13lb (6000g) and readabilities from 0.01g to 2g, the Valor 3000 Xtreme
offers models for almost all weighing needs.
