 May 21, 2009, Toronto - The results are in! Pizza Nova's
That's Amore Pizza for Kids fundraising event raised the largest amount of
dough ever in its 10 year history.
On May 12, over 100 Pizza Nova locations across Southern
Ontario participated in the annual event to benefit Variety - The Children's
Charity. Throughout the annual, all day event, medium pepperoni pizzas were
served for only $3.99, and Pizza Nova donated $1 from each pizza sold to the
charity. Thousands of customers lined out the doors at Pizza Nova locations
across the province to demonstrate their support for a good cause.
Pizza Nova was very proud to announce at a cheque
presentation to Variety Village on May 20 that this year's single-day total was
$109,061, exceeding this year's goal by over $9,000.
