April 18, 2009, Abbotsford, B.C.—Restaurant point of
sale developer SpeedLine integrated its SpeedLine POS
software with touch screen kiosk solutions by NEXTEP SYSTEMS, a Troy, MI,
manufacturer of automated ordering and digital signage solutions.
“SpeedLine
integration provides customers with a best-of-breed total solution,” said Tommy
Woycik, NEXTEP president. “We were able to integrate our kiosk solution
seamlessly with SpeedLine POS using the company’s OrderLink Gateway.”
NEXTEP and SpeedLine installed the first
countertop self-service kiosks and integrated point of sale system at the
newly-opened Sylvan Lake, Alberta, location of TacoTime, a Kahala
Corporation quick-serve restaurant concept.
