Jan. 24, 2009, Abbotsford, B.C. – Pizza and QSR point of sale
developer SpeedLine Solutions launched the SpeedLine Technology Network.
“The SpeedLine Technology Network provides a forum for
technology vendors to reach the broad SpeedLine POS user community,” said
SpeedLine marketing manager Jennifer Wiebe. “And it gives SpeedLine users
access to an array of valuable products and services that they can be confident
will work seamlessly with the POS systems they already own.”
More than a dozen technology vendors have joined the
Technology Network to date, offering value-added services to SpeedLine POS
users that include a range of online ordering, database marketing, kitchen
display system, gift and credit card processing, and enterprise reporting
choices.
“Everyone benefits,” Wiebe adds. “Technology providers gain
access to a receptive new market, and we can provide our customers with a rich
selection of new tools to manage their restaurants.”
SpeedLine is actively working with several member companies
to develop technology solutions that cross boundaries and create new
possibilities for SpeedLine users. The companies plan to announce new cooperative
service offerings later this year.
