 Sept. 9, 2008 - Globe Food Equipment Company, a provider of
precision food preparation equipment, introduced a 60-quart pizza mixer (SP62P) earlier this
summer that is designed specifically for pizza operations.
The new SP62P Pizza Mixer has the capacity to handle up to 50 pounds of flour (75-pound batch
size) and offers users the ability to maximize mixing time. So before your customers work hard to
roll and bake those dough ingredients, be sure that you have a durable piece of equipment like the
SP62P in stock to meet those demanding needs.
This mixer has a powerful three horsepower motor that was custom built.
It includes a high torque,
direct-gear drive transmission that was designed to handle the most demanding mixing applications
in the pizza and dough industry. In addition, the mixer has a rigid cast iron body and stainless steel
bowl guard with a built-in ingredient chute and power lift.
The SP62P was also built with hardened steel alloy gears and shafts that were heat-treated and the
automatic safety shut-off provides superior protection for users. Other standard features include
front-mounted controls and a 15-minute timer.
In addition, even though it was designed with pizza dough in mind, the SP62P can also be used for
bread and roll dough. Built into each of our mixers is a quality of workmanship and specific design
features that are synonymous with Globe.
