New Fry Baskets
ffbasketCreative french fry presentations get easier all the time with American Metalcraft. The foodservice supply creator is marketing fry basket paper liners. Choose from plain white or newsprint style paper in 12-inch by 12-inch flat sheets or 6-inch by 7-inch folded squares. A wooden cone roller is also available to place paper in fry baskets without excessively fingering the paper.

This year, American Metalcraft also introduced “Birdnest” french fry baskets using copper, chrome or black wire. And in a tribute to the ’70s, the “Go-Go” french fry baskets were brought on line in a mod black or silver finish. All of these fry baskets are perfect for french fries, mushrooms, nuggets, zucchini, onion rings and more.

Anti-splash floor troughs
Eagle’s new line of anti-splash floor troughs and drain systems incorporate a built-in pitch angle to assure complete drainage, while at the same time preventing waste from splashing back onto the floor.

Made of heavy-duty 14 gauge type 304 stainless steel, the anti-splash floor troughs are ideal for ensuring complete drainage in a variety of applications including drain-off at kettles, indirect waste drainage at walk-in refrigerated boxes, as well as indirect waste drainage for sinks. The trough’s stainless steel waste cup accommodates pipe sizes up to four inches (102 mm) in diameter, and features a removable perforated stainless steel basket.

Eagle floor troughs are available with subway-style stainless steel grating or two super-rugged fiberglass grating options. The conventional fiberglass design features a non-slip grip surface. The T-bar design provides a more solid walking area, while preventing objects from falling through.

Anti-splash floor troughs and drain systems from Eagle are available in a choice of many standard-sized models and custom sizes are also available.

New milk cooler
atmcMaster-Bilt, a manufacturer of commercial refrigeration systems, unveiled its new ATMC series Air-Thru Milk Coolers at the National Restaurant Association Show in May.

The new coolers’ air-thru design allows for superior air-flow, which also permits the refrigeration system to perform at maximum efficiency with reduced energy consumption. Compared to other forced air milk coolers, the ATMC models offer a greater capacity for return of the “produced air” to the unit cooler.

The ATMC series comes in six models, three available in single access and three available in dual access, and all are constructed of a stainless steel interior and exterior. A cassette-type refrigeration system is mounted on the side of the cooler making service easy and efficient.
